While you can signup for a Twitter account when you first launch UberSocial, you can also click here to sign up for Twitter or here for instructions on signing up for Twitter.
“Use SSL connection” is an option for setting up an extra secure connection between your app and Twitter. Most users do not choose to check this box as it can slow your app down somewhat and your information is secure without it.
“Default Account” is relevant when you have more than one account. You should check this box when setting up your most-used twitter account.
“Remember me” allows you to open UberSocial without having to log in anew every time.
Please check that your login information is correct – one useful tip is to try logging in on the web.
Also, please verify that your phone’s clock is accurate – Twitter recently implemented a new rule that disallows login by users on devices where the time/time zone doesn’t match their location.
If neither of these tips help, you’re likely a victim of a common and benign issue:
Unfortunately sometimes third party apps can have a difficult time authenticating user login data. Luckily, if you wait awhile and try again you should eventually be able to login. It may take a few tries, however.
